We Shall Be Satisfied

Representative Text

1 Some day we shall be satisfied,
When in His likeness we appear;
Shall know each other as we’re known,
When all that’s dark shall be made clear.

Refrain:
Satisfied, we shall be satisfied,
Some day we shall be satisfied,
When in His likeness we appear,
We shall be satisfied.

2 Some day we shall be satisfied,
When we shall meet Him face to face,
And sing with angels round the throne,
We’re saved, we’re saved from sin by grace. [Refrain]

3 Some day we shall be satisfied,
When all our burdens are laid down,
When we shall stand before the King,
And there receive the promised crown. [Refrain]
