Representative Text

1 We cannot live without it,
Naught else can satisfy;
We need the living water
That cometh from on high.

Refrain:
Oh, come and take the water
He offers you today!
For still the Savior calleth,
Why will ye go away?

1 The fountain ever floweth,
Refreshing, pure and free.
Enough for all who need it,
Enough for you and me. [Refrain]

3 Whoever will, may take it,
For Christ the Savior’s sake;
But none may know the blessing,
Who will not come and take. [Refrain]
