No one can help like Jesus;
When cares are many or sorrows betide,
No one can help like Jesus;
Nobody knows or can just understand,
Like the dear Saviour who’s holding my hand,
He knows my weakness and helps me to stand,
No one can help like Jesus.

He only knows my sorrow and woes,

2 When foes assail me and rough grows the way,
No one can help like Jesus;
When comes the promise, “I’m with you alway,”
No one can help like Jesus;
Yes, He is with me through sunshine and storm,
Ever will guide me and keep me from harm,
Daily I lean on His strong, loving arm,
No one can help like Jesus. [Refrain]

3 When peace is filling my soul like a psalm,

When He has spoken the storm to a calm,

O He can give such a wonderful peace,

Born: July 12, 1873, Mayville, New Jersey. Died: March 4, 1962, Long Beach, California. Leech spent her childhood in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, and attended Columbia University and Temple University. She played the organ at Bethany Methodist Church in Camden, New Jersey, served as accompanist at evangelical services, and wrote some 500 hymn tunes in her lifetime.
