Trust him still

Representative Text

1 When o'er thy path the dark clouds veiled the light,
Trust, trust him still, trust, trust him still;
When wearily thou art toiling for the right,
Trust, trust him still, trust him still.

Chorus:
Yes, trust him still, yes, trust him still,
Thro' all that is good and all that's ill;
Yes, trust him still, yes, trust him still,
Thro' all that is good and all that's ill.

2 Thou' death should take all the dear ones of thy love,
Trust, trust him still, trust, trust him still;
They're safe with him, thou shalt meet them all above,
Trust, trust him still, trust him still. [Chorus]

3 How sweet to know when this earthly life is done,
Trust, trust him still, trust, trust him still;
Thou hast not failed, but a triumph thou hast won,
Trust, trust him still, trust him still. [Chorus]
