John Otho Beall, brother of B.B. Beall and J. Guy Beall, was born on November 26, 1883. He made his living as an evangelistic singer. He had polio in his youth but shared his beautiful baritone voice as a singer. He and his seven brothers taught singing schools in many churches. He died on October 9, 1961. NN, Hymnary editor.
