Author: Mary More Appears in 5 hymnals Lyrics: 1 As I am, O Jesus, take me, I no longer will rebel; Let thy holy Spirit break me, And within me ever dwell. Chorus: As I am, O Jesus, take me, Here I give myself to Thee; Savior, take me, break, and make me, All that Thou would'st have me be 2 Take me, Lord, as Thou hast found me, Guilty, vile and far from Thee, Satan's fetters fastened round me, Take me, Lord, and make me free. [Chorus] 3 Break me, Lord, from love of sinning, Break, O break my stubborn will, Now the work of grace beginning, Let Thy love my spirit fill. [Chorus] 4 Make me, Lord, what thou would'st have me, Make me like Thyself to be, Make me pure and make me holy, Consecrated unto Thee. [Chorus] Used With Tune: [As I am, O Jesus, take me]
