"Not a valid XML file"

You are here

When I try to upload https://hymnary.org/files/hymnary/other/AMEZ1957_backup_09_Apr_19.xml I am informed that this is not a valid XML file. Not sure why. The way I've been doing this worked well up until about two weeks ago; since then, I get this error message and have given up for the time being on that approach to adding data to the base.

Comments

The problem seems to be in the data for page d301.  I would try deleting that row, then reinsert and complete it.

Did you get the error on more than one xml file?

I got a similar error a week or two back, probably on an earlier version of the same file. Since d301 is a DNAH entry, it would have been the same in the earlier version. Thanks!

Taking that one line out and redoing it seems to have fixed it. Thanks!

Blessings.
