Hello to all editors! I just finished all the training materials and am now ready to edit up a storm, ha! Thank you, Dianne S, for setting up my access. If this is the correct place to ask, is there something in particular I should start working on? I own several hymnals that are not in Hymnary.org's database, as far as I can tell, and I could start working on one of those if there is not some other project I should start.
As background, my name is Amy Whiteman Sherrill, I live in metro Atlanta, GA, and am retired from a chemical engineering/engineering leadership career. I've served as a church pianist for over 40 years and for the last nearly 20 years have served as music leader and hymn historian for our (large) adult Sunday Bible Study class. Hymnary.org has been a great resource in my church music work, and I'm excited and grateful for the opportunity to contribute going forward. No doubt I'll have some newbie questions, so I'll thank you all in advance for your patience and support, as I'm sure I'll need it. Blessings to you all!

Welcome! I am just now
Welcome! I am just now working through my training hymnal as well. I would love to connect if you'd like a partner to discuss progress on adding/updating hymnals! I also have a few hymnals (actually Psalters!) that are either incomplete or missing that I will be working on once I complete training.

Starting with the hymnals you own would be a good place to begin.
