For some reason, or perhaps none, the Revised Common Lectionary lists Matthew 17:1-9 both as the only gospel reading for today, Transfiguration Sunday, and as one of two gospel readings for March 1, Lent 2A. This makes no sense to me; I've sent an email to the folks at Vanderbilt asking about it. But I also note that under March 8 a number of the NPM recommendations are tagged for other readings that are not on the RCL list. For example, there are three songs tagged for “Annunciation”, but that doesn't come around till March 24 or 25 as far as I can tell. There is no reason I can imagine why they should be listed for March 8.

Also Luke 24 for Lent 3A??
Just noticed another extraneous gospel tag. “In the Breaking of the Bread”, Luke 24. Does the NPM use a different lectionary?
There's more...

Thanks! Here's an unrelated problem...
Doing what I can see to do to keep the place neat and tidy.
(Here's a screenshot of the problem item)
I just noticed a problem with hymnal-to-hymnal tune comparison. My church's pew hymnal is out of print, so we're considering our options. I'm looking at a lot of different hymnals and running the differences by others who will be involved in the decision-making process. Today I was looking at tunes in *Sing!" (Sing2025) that are not in our HWC1986, and I noticed to my surprise and confusion that ‘JESUS, I COME" is showing up as in both, but only in 1. The one in Sing! is by Thompson, the one in HWC is the usual old Stebbins tune. Earlier, presumably because the entry specified "(Goss)", a similar thing didn’t happen with LAUDA ANIMA, where HWC uses the (Andrews) tune.
