In the Dawn of Eternal Day

Author: E. M. R. Hymnal: Favorites Number 2 #77 (1946) First Line: Tho’ we journey the pathway that leads thro’ the night Refrain First Line: All the trials of life will be nothing Lyrics: 1 Tho’ we journey the pathway that leads thro’ the night, And our feet may be weary and worn; Every cloud will be lifted and all will be bright, In the dawn of that golden morn. Refrain: All the trials of life will be nothing, When the mists have been rolled away; And the darkness of night Will be turned into light, In the dawn of eternal day. 2 There are questions and myst’ries that often arise, As our footsteps we vainly retrace; But they all shall be quickly erased from our eyes, When we look in His blessed face. [Refrain] 3 Tho’ the road may seem long, and the journey be hard, And our eyes may be blinded with tears, There awaits for the faithful a glorious reward, In the home of the endless years. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [Tho’ we journey the pathway that leads thro’ the night]
