Rewarded!

Author: R. E. Hudson Appears in 3 hymnals First Line: Hark! hark! son and daughter Refrain First Line: Here I’m rewarded, there I’m rewarded Lyrics: 1 Hark! hark! son and daughter; Hear Jesus; He speaketh; Go work in the vineyard while yet it is day; The night will soon come, Your labor be ended; Go work for the Master, and toil while you may. Refrain: Here I’m rewarded, there I’m rewarded, Here, and up yonder, as we gather round the throne; Only rewarded, only rewarded, I’ll be rewarded for what I have done. 2 Think not of the conflict, For Jesus will lead you; The harvest is white, and the work must be done, Oh, now heed the call, And go to the vineyard, For soon He will call you, come home, child, come home! [Refrain] 3 Go speak to thy brother, And tell him of Jesus; Go raise up the fallen, and tell of his love; Cheer up the faint heart, And point to the mansions Prepared for the faithful in heaven above. [Refrain] Used With Tune: [Hark! hark! son and daughter]
