No One Hath Loved Us Like Jesus

Author: James Rowe Hymnal: His Worthy Praise #60 (1915) First Line: Have we done our very best for Jesus Lyrics: 1 Have we done our very best for Jesus, Who for sinners left his throne above? He is worthy of our noblest striving, Worthy of our loyalty and love. Refrain: No one hat loved us like Jesus, On him alone we depend; Always so loving and helpful, He is our one great Friend! 2 When we think of how this Friend hath led us Past the pitfalls in the valleys dim, Making bright each step of heaven’s pathway, How our trusting hearts go out to him. [Refrain] 3 When we think of all that we may borrow Of the blessing coming from above, And that we shall see him in his glory, Oh, what joy it is to trust his love! [Refrain] 4 Ev’ry heavy burden he has lightened, Cheered us thro’ our trouble and our care! So we know that our divine Redeemer Is indeed a friend beyond compare. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [Have we done our very best for Jesus]
