My friend, is it you? Refrain: O who would the love of the Savior abuse, The mercy and pardon He offers, refuse? The lost are so many, the saved are so few,— My Lord, is it I? My friend, is it you? 2 Just as of yore He on trial is standing, Denied by the many and loved by the few; Someone “Away with Him!” still is demanding; My Lord, is it I? My friend, is it you?
